1. Who is eligible for a library card?

The Chickasha Public Library will issue a free library card with borrowing privileges to any individual four years of age or older who lives, works, or attends school in Grady County, or who has a Grady County mailing address. Click here for more information.

1. How do I file a Police report?

You may drive to the police station or you can call the police at (405) 222-6050. Tell the communications officers why you need to speak with an officer. If appropriate, an officer will be sent to your location.

2. Can I pay my traffic citation online?

3. Can I obtain a copy of a Police Report?

Yes, we will have you complete a form and you will need to pay a fee per page. Certain items on reports may be redacted if allowed under Oklahoma Open Records Act.

4. How do I report an issue involving animals?

Call Animal Control at (405) 222-6050. If an animal is actively attacking a person, a Police Officer will respond in emergency situations.

5. How do I give information about crimes anonymously?

If you dial 224-TIPS (224-8477) you can give details about a crime and not give your name. You will be given a log number. If the case is solved, an award may be issued to the holder of the log number pertaining to the case.

4. Do you take payments over the phone?

In an effort to provide service to our utility customers in a more timely manner, the City no longer accepts credit card payments by telephone.

5. Is there a fee to transfer my water service?

No, but your current account must be at a zero balance in order to transfer to another address.

• If your regular trash pick up day is Tuesday, your bulk pickup days are the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month
• If your regular trash pick up day is Wednesday, your bulk pickup days are the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month
• If your regular trash pick up day is Thursday, your bulk pickup days are the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month
