CHICKASHA, Okla. – October 18, 2019 – The City of Chickasha is partnering with Chickasha Public Schools to host Coats for Chickasha, a coat drive benefiting Chickasha Public School students. The drive will be held Monday, October 21 – Monday, November 4, 2019.
Donations of new or gently used coats, jackets, gloves, scarves and warm hats, along with new packages of socks, are being sought for the drive. All youth and adult sizes are needed.
“The city staff and I feel very privileged to partner with the school to assist with this coat drive for the upcoming winter season,” said City Manager John Noblitt. “Being able to help provide these vital necessities for students is another part of what makes Chickasha a great place to live.”
Donations may be dropped off at City Hall, at the Chickasha Police Department, at Chickasha Fire Station 1 or Station 2, and at the Chickasha Public Library.
