CHICKASHA, Okla. – April 5, 2019 – The City of Chickasha would like to congratulate Roy Maloney, Parks Supervisor, for being named April Employee of the Month. Maloney, who has been employed by the City for nearly 36 years, was presented with a certificate of recognition by City Manager John Noblitt at the April 1, 2019 City Council Meeting.
Maloney’s coworkers nominated him for the award because of his eye and attention to detail. They say he has a great relationship with his coworkers, and that he is a team player who works to promote unity.
“Roy sets a great example for others in his attitude and approach to work,” said Kamie Brookshire, Human Resources Director. “He is a leader, dedicated to making Chickasha’s parks safer, well-maintained and more attractive for the community. Thanks to his devotion to his job, Chickasha’s parks are better than they have ever been.”
Maloney’s hard work has played an integral role in the City’s success. The City of Chickasha would like to thank Maloney for his continued commitment.
The City of Chickasha's Employee of the Month program was created to recognize employees for their outstanding work and achievements as a City employee. To date, 16 employees have been recognized through the program.
