The City of Chickasha announced Wednesday that the Chickasha Lake closure has been extended through April 30.
This closure means activities including but not limited to fishing, boating, camping and gathering are not allowed. Those violating the lake closure are subject to permanent trespass and/or revocation of their lake lease.
All citizens are encouraged to follow CDC guidance on how to help protect themselves and their families from COVID-19, and to stay home unless conducting essential business, such as picking up groceries or medicine, or exercising outdoors while practicing social distancing.
