[ARCHIVED] Grady County Fairgrounds Hosts Drive-Thru COVID-19 Testing Clinic

The Grady County Fairgrounds will host a drive-thru COVID-19 Test clinic, provided by the Grady County Health Department, Tuesday, April 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. or until supplies are no longer available, at 500 E. Choctaw Ave., Chickasha, OK 73018. 

To be tested, a person must be 18+ (16+ with in-person, parental consent) and experiencing a fever, cough or shortness of breath, or have had contact with someone known to test positive for COVID-19. Testing is free and does not require insurance or a doctor’s referral. 

"This clinic is valuable to the public and will assist us in better understanding the scope of COVID-19 within this community," said Jackie Kanak, administrative director for the Grady County Health Department. 

Clients will be a seed to answer screening questions through their car window and will need to give verbal consent to be tested. Grady County Health Department providers will use a nasal swab test that will be transported to a lab for testing results. Please leave pets at home nd remain in your vehicle at all times.
