Facilities Maintenance Specialist:

 The City of Chickasha is seeking a talented and highly motivated person to join our team as a Facilities Maintenance Specialist. This position is responsible for the overall maintenance and oversight of City Buildings and facilities. You will also coordinate construction and renovation programs while working under the direction of the Support Services Director. You will perform semi-skilled and skilled maintenance work on City buildings and facilities and will provide oversight of sub contracted maintenance work. Police Officer:

 

This is responsible general duty police work in protecting the life, persons, and property of the citizens of the City of Chickasha through equitable enforcement of laws and ordinances.

 

An employee in this class functions as the initial responding officer on police calls, conducts investigations, and maintains routine patrol activities to preserve the p eace,enforce laws, prevent and deter crime, protect life and property, arrest suspected violators of the law, and render service to the public.

An employee in this class may be assigned special duties such as criminal investigation, drug and alcohol law enforcement and/or education responsibilities, K-9 patrol, and Lake Chickasha patrol tasks.  Duties are performed under general supervision in accordance with well-established police practices, standards, and departmental policy and regulations.  This work may frequently involve hazardous or strenuous tasks, but always involves the exercise of initiative and independent judgment in emergency situations. Salary Uncertified: $33,864.45/ Certified: $34,880.87

Maintenance Worker I /Line Maintenance:

This is semi-skilled trades work in reading, placement, and repair of water meters.

An employee in this class is responsible for reading water meters, the installation of meters, monitoring meter performance, investigating customer complaints on bills, and investigating water leaks.  The employee performs testing and repair of meters and repairs and maintains meter boxes, lids, and appurtenant equipment, and lines.  The work is performed under the direction of the Line Maintenance Superintendent. $10.15- $12.18

Administrative Assistant Community Development:

This position involves administrative work performed in support of Planning, Building and Neighborhood Services including but not limited to answering multiple telephone lines, screening and directing calls, taking and relaying messages, providing information to callers, greeting persons entering department, directing persons to correct destination, assisting with inquiries from the public and customers, ensuring knowledge of staff movements in and out of organization, monitoring visitor access and maintaining security awareness. General administrative duties performed include receiving and sorting mail and deliveries, filing, scheduling appointments, and preparing reports (meeting minutes, letters, spreadsheets…). The position assists builders and tradesmen with permits and licenses and is responsible for maintaining the reception area in an orderly and professional manner as well as other duties as assigned.  Salary $21,109.92
