Chickasha Fire / Emergency Medical Services (EMS) only accepts applications when openings are advertised. Applications can be obtained by contacting the City Clerk at City Hall or by calling 405-222-6020.
The testing procedure is competitively based and consists of written testing, physical testing, interviews, and background checks.

Qualifications & Preferences
Minimum qualifications include:
High School Graduate or GED.
Acceptable driving and criminal record.
Certification as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) basic or above. For EMT’s licensed in another state, a state of Oklahoma license will be required before a job offer is tendered.
Previous fire and/or EMS experience.
Certification as a Paramedic.
Associates or Bachelors degree in a related field.
